Long Distance Caregiving: So Far Away: Twenty Questions and Answers About Long-Distance Caregiving  focuses on issues that are unique to long-distance caregiving. Developed by the National Institute on Aging (NIA), this tool is a gateway to ideas and resources that can help make long-distance caregiving more manageable and satisfying. Also available as a bookleteach of these commonly asked questions has a brief answer. You can read them separately or together for a more complete picture of all the facets of caregiving from afar.

Technology Solutions for Caregivers: The AAA 1-B Advisory Council Ad Hoc Study Committee on Caregiving Technology examined the unmet needs of family caregivers, and assessed the extent to which there are technologies available to address these areas of need.  They concluded that there are an incredible number of existing and emerging technologies to address caregiving concerns, and that most are relatively unknown to caregivers.  This research resulted in the publication of the Caregiver Technology Solutions booklet, which features 47 different technologies targeted to caregivers.
